This Hi-Torque starter is designed to reduce or eliminate the grinding necessary to install a conventional Ford SBF starter when using our Ecoboost/ Duratec to SBF Bellhousing Adapter. This starter is designed to work with 157 tooth (not 164 tooth) flywheels and flexplates that are common among latemodel 5.0L cars and trucks! This starter can turn over even the biggest high compression stroker engines with ease and cranks the engine fast enough to work with most modern electronics systems as well!

Small physical size to help clear exhausts easier!
Does not require an external solenoid so wiring is simplified (you only need the battery cable, and a 12v switched wire!)
Comes with a pigtail to connect your 12v switched wire to fit directly into this starter's solenoid plug housing!
