Billet aluminum Duratec & Ecoboost 4-cylinder balance shaft housing delete plug.
This plug is used to seal off the oil feed for the balance shafts. This plug bolts in place and allows for removal of 18 pounds from the engine by removing the balance shaft housing assembly. A small increase in vibrations should be expected with no decrease in long term durability.
