Duratec Cam Bolts
We offer 2 types of cam bolt for the Duratec engines. On cams that have dowel pinned gears, we prefer the ARP cam bolts as they are re-usable and are very reliable. On cams without dowel pinned gears, the best option is OEM Torque-to-Yield cam bolts. This bolt is a one time use torque-to-yield fastener, that means a new bolt is required each time you move or remove the cam gear from the camshaft. Both options fit OEM and Esslinger Duratec aftermarket cams.
